• WHAT CAMMERA DO YOU SHOOT WITH?
  • I photograph weddings and portraits with a professional Canon 5D Mark II, one of the top digital cameras on the market.
  •
  • WHAT IS YOUR EXPERIENCE
  • I have photographed over 150 weddings and have a constantly evolving body of work. I’m an active member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA). In addition, I am a regular contributor to Martha Stewart Living.
  •
  • WHAT IS YOUR STYLE?
  • I like to photograph weddings in an editorial style. I seek out the details that create a wedding’s atmosphere. I want my pictures to tell a story so I prefer to let things happen naturally. I capture the candid moments like the impulsive kisses, spontaneous hugs, tender glances, and even the unexpected hiccups.
  •
  • WHAT IS YOUR PRESENSE LIKE ON THE WEDDING DAY?
  • For me, it’s important to be as discreet and unobtrusive as possible. On the wedding day I am in the middle of the action but I’m out of the way. Many of my previous clients reveal that they didn’t even feel I was there!
  •
  • DO YOU WORK WITH A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?
  • I almost always work with a second photographer at weddings. On such a busy and bustling day, having an extra set of hands and another pair of eyes ensures that the wedding is thoroughly documented.
  •
  • HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE THE PHOTOS?
  • I carefully edit and color correct the pictures after the wedding. Four weeks from the wedding day, the photos go onto a password protected website. One week later the 4x6 proofs are ready.
  •
  • CAN YOU MAKE WEDDING ALBUMS?
  • I work closely with couples to create their wedding album. I help them choose the best photographs that represent their wedding day. I use only the best vendors (Cypress and Leather Craftsmen) to produce elegant, one of a kind albums.
  •
  • DO YOU RECOMMEND SCHEDULING AN ENGAGEMENT PORTRAIT?
  • I think an engagement portrait is a great way to get to know me and my shooting style. It also is a perfect opportunity to practice poses as a couple. I’ve photographed engagement sessions in fun places like Coney Island, Dumbo, Battery Park, and (of course) Central Park.
  •
  • DO YOU TRAVEL OUTSIDE NEW YORK CITY?
  • While I am based in New York City, I frequently photograph weddings throughout New England and the Tri-State area. I have also traveled to the Caribbean and the West Coast to shoot weddings.
  •
  • WHERE CAN I SEE YOUR WORK?
  • My wedding photographs have appeared in Martha Stewart Weddings, Brides Magazine, Brooklyn Bride Blog, and Photo District News.
  •
  • WHAT OTHER TYPES OF PHOTOGRAPHS DO YOU SHOOT?
  • I have a passion for flowers! I am a regular contributor to Martha Stewart Living where I photograph gardens and still life.
  • In addition, I often receive calls from past clients to document other milestones like their first family portrait, anniversaries, and birthday parties.  It’s a pleasure to be called time and time again.
